2024 Grosse Club Christmas Party Report
The 3rd Grosse Club Christmas Party was held on Thursday, December 12th, with former Takarazuka Star Troupe top star Yuzuru Kurenai as guest guest. The venue was the five-star Palace Hotel Tokyo.
A large Christmas tree welcomes you in the lobby.
Flower and jewelry arrangements on each table at the party venue will add to the Christmas atmosphere.
The red color of "Neige" is perfect for the holiday season, and the 1968 reproduction of "Brillia" is also available.
In addition, we also have flower ornaments featuring "Grossé + Kurenai," a collaboration jewelry with Kurenai Yuzuru, which has been extremely popular since its release.
The jewelry sparkled even more in the soft light of the chandelier.
And now the party is about to begin. The dress code is Something Red + Grosse Jewelry.
Representative Noda, dressed in a red dress, gave a toast.
The toast will be with GH Mumm, a champagne with a long history that was founded by a German aristocrat in 1827.
The bottle has a red ribbon design, which was prepared in honor of Yuzuru Kurenai and Something Red on the day.
The first thing that was brought out was the Palace Hotel's special marinated salmon and a small salad of colorful vegetables.
This appetizer features cute edible flowers and a refreshing herbal scent that will tickle your nostrils.
Next was potato marron soup, and then the fish dish was poached red snapper.
While everyone was enjoying the food and complimentary drinks such as champagne and wine, the main thing they were curious about was the stage. Everyone was eagerly awaiting the performance, and finally...
Yuzuru Kurenai made her entrance! The venue erupted in excitement with loud applause and cheers of appreciation. She appeared in a bright red long dress, layered with red pearl necklaces, and made a gorgeous entrance with a lovely arrangement.
The live talk show with Beni will begin immediately, hosted by Vice President Takizawa.
This time, the talk show was filled with laughter, with questions from fans and stories about how Grosse and Beni first met, the story behind the creation of the collaborative jewelry, and memories of Christmas from their childhood and Takarazuka days.
Some of the stories are about the "Law of Attraction," which is very important to Beni.
In fact, the Law of Attraction is also hidden in the jewelry she collaborated with Grosse. Everyone nodded in agreement as she explained her passion for the craft.
At the end of the talk show, Beni went around to each table to take photos! There was also a special moment where she personally handed out presents.
The party continued even after the highly exciting talk show.
For the main dish, we had grilled beef fillet wrapped in pie and served with a mellow truffle sauce.
The dessert had the words "Merry Christmas" written on it. It was a chestnut buche de Noel, perfect for Christmas.
The closing remarks were given by sisters Junko Izumi and Tokuro Miyake, the first female kyogen performers in history.
The party was filled with smiles from the opening to the end, with the two of them chatting in perfect harmony and everyone concluding with a "Congratulations!"
